Chattooga Belle Farm is situated at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where apples have grown for the last 60 years. The orchard currently owned by Chattooga Belle Farm was once owned by Groucho Max. Now, it is part of a 198-acre working farm that also grows peaches, grapes, and berries.
While many people are familiar with Washington State apples, South Carolina is native to many apple varieties of its own. The river that feeds the farm, Long Creek, was once the largest apple-producing area east of the Mississippi. Choose from Pink Lady and Gold Rush varieties.
